We continued to work in our lab right up to the day when the door was closed on our research. We left a ‘Marie Celeste’ of labs and offices. Unfinished work remained on lab benches and may yet be gathering dust behind locked doors. Of greatest concern and regret for me was our research on Parkinson’s disease. While the majority of microscopy was completed, the majority of quantitative research remained incomplete. We managed to prepare about half of the Parkinson’s brain tissue (approximately 250 tissue digests) for analysis. However, only 20 tissue digests were measured by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Remaining tissues will not be prepared for analysis. Unmeasured digests will remain unmeasured. For the first time in our group, tissue donations have been wasted. We regret this terrible waste of human tissue. A situation taken out of our control.
Data for the 20 tissue digests, temporal cortex, parietal cortex, cerebellum and hippocampus, were all below 0.5ppb. Similar to the aluminium content of brain tissue donated by individuals with no neurological disease. Of course data for less than 5% of the available tissues means very little. However, for those naysayers who have criticised our research for ‘always finding aluminium in brain tissue’ we may have found something different in Parkinson’s disease. Of course, we have already published research demonstrating an association between neuropathology and aluminium in Parkinson’s disease tissue ( https://content.iospress.com/articles/journal-of-alzheimers-disease/jad200838 and https://www.nature.com/articles/s41598-022-05627-8 ). A future manuscript will confirm this association. The distribution of aluminium in brain tissue in Parkinson’s disease may be region specific and, perhaps, associated with specific neuropathology. It may be some time before this hypothesis can be thoroughly tested.
The cause of sporadic Parkinson’s disease is unknown and our understanding of this devastating and burgeoning neurological disease has not been improved by cancelled science.

French Team reporting ! L'ALU TOTAL has just been removed from Yt... as well as all the French movies about aluminium toxicity (even the documentary produced by France 2 in which you appeared).
You can still find my video here (no subtitles available though...)

Really happy to still read you Chris !
PS : I miss the wonderful comment you put in my Youtube channel... It was my medal of honor.
I'd like to interview you soon on this very point. I will also be spreading awareness of your Substack.
