Since I no longer wander the hallowed corridors of academia I do struggle to follow the continued impact of my research (if any). As a ‘retired’ academic I now have the same tools as most for accessing science and specifically accessing its impact. I am not without sin and I do quite enjoy casting a stone in the glasshouse of academic achievement. Who doesn’t enjoy a pat on the back?
My paper on the aluminium content of brain tissue in autism is a continuous source of enjoyment. Not, of course, due to its content and message, but because in spite of the myriad efforts of the establishment it still shines as brightly as ever in illuminating the tyranny of The Aluminium Age and specifically its role in infant vaccination.
This North Star of truth continues to shine as brightly because of your efforts. I know this because there are a number of ways that the social impact of a published paper are measured. One of these is called PlumX Metrics. When you clicked on the link above to my autism paper you will have seen on the right hand side of the page a summary of the social impact of the paper. Click again on view details and you will be able to view the various means by which my paper has been followed by social media. There is but one quite incredible statistic. There have been to-date over 2.2 million mentions of my paper across social media. Yes, 2.2 million! I am in awe of this. It is only six years since the paper was published and in this relatively short time the vaccine industry has had its butt kicked over 2.2 million times. Congratulations to everyone.
A second measure of the social impact of a published paper is called Altmetric. A summary of the Altmetric for my autism paper can be found here. You will see that it rates very highly. In the top 1% of all scientific papers covered by this metric. May I ask you to delve a little deeper by clicking the tab for X. Notice nearly 5000 posts on X with the most recent being April 2024. Now click on the tab for Facebook. What do you notice. Just over 400 posts with the most recent being December 2019! So, my landmark paper with over 2.2 million mentions across social media has not been ‘mentioned’ on Facebook since December 2019. Really? When I asked Altmetric about this they replied that they can only use data as provided to them by the various platforms. This means that Facebook stopped alerting Altmetric of mentions of my paper at the end of 2019. Facebook actively censors published science. Probably not a surprise but I do wonder which other scientific papers have been afforded such a privilege. Perhaps one by Galileo?
The data provided by organisations such as PlumX Metrics and Altmetric are testimony to the true and gargantuan efforts of Joe Public in not letting important science be swept under the carpet to slowly die. In addition it provides me with the modest entertainment of knowing that every time the paper is ‘tweeted’ or posted on Facebook and elsewhere that another pin runs deep into the effigy of the vaccine industry. Keep buying those pins. Thank you.
Dear Dr. Exley,
the timing of reading this is ALL of God!
In January when my husband was in hospital for a peg feed procedure, I got into conversation with a nurse about waking up to the wickedness of the pharmaceutical industry. She has four children, all with various autism issues. After genetic investigations showing nothing wrong, she is convinced all her children deteriorated after their vaccination.
I've been with my husband on the same ward since Monday. Again the procedure failed, yet because of that, today that nurse was on duty. I told her about your 2019 interview. I was given her email. Now this, all in an hour of our trying to help her & her children.
THANK YOU.
Lynda Fazakerley
I am so glad I completely avoided my child’s vaccines. And thanks to your research my suspicions have been confirmed.
