Who's Afraid of Big Bad Naomi Wolf
She'll huff and she'll puff and she will blow down the house of aluminium
Congratulations to Dr Naomi Wolf and the burgeoning power of substack.
When Dr Wolf writes and speaks an increasing number of individuals listen. I believe she has over 80,000 substack subscribers. However, her power extends beyond her immediate contributions as I learned just a few days ago when I was contacted by someone writing an article for Children’s Health Defence’s The Defender. Would I like to comment on her substack as The Defender was planning a follow-up piece on her article. The excellent complementary article was published yesterday. So Dr Wolf extends her audience even further and I wholly support her efforts and those of The Defender.
Am I mildly miffed that this giant of substack wasn’t aware of Dr’s Newsletter. Of course, we all want to be missed. However, Wolf calling out the aluminium industry is exactly what I have been working for these last forty years or so. I hope that she will open the gates to other titans of social media. After all we are not going to hear this on the Beeb (BBC).
Dr Wolf’s reveal on the aluminium industry covered a wide spectrum of interests though it was interesting that she chose to focus upon men’s health. Those brave few who have read my book will know of my contribution in this field of aluminium and human health and will recognise the image of sperm loaded with aluminium shown below.
The author of the piece in The Defender, John-Michael Dumais, kindly cited our research with links to the original papers. While Dr Wolf did not cite my contribution to the field directly she did use an extremely reliable information source. Bob Yokel, the author of the review that Wolf relied upon for her information, was one of the pioneers in aluminium research and someone, as a young scientist, I looked up to and respected greatly. It is good to see that Bob was still putting pen to paper on aluminium just a few years ago.
Well, I just wanted to thank Dr Wolf openly for her efforts and similarly John-Michael Dumais of The Defender for recognising the importance of not necessarily what Wolf was saying but that she was saying it and to a large audience. Perhaps one day I will be writing this substack for 100,000 subscribers.
I will leave you with one for the true believers. Nature magazine has just announced that nominations are open for The John Maddox Prize. John Maddox was, in my opinion, the last great editor of Nature. He was the editor who accepted my first published paper and the rest, as they say is history. If ever there was a prize that I deserve it is this prize. Click the link and read about it to understand why. Indeed some years ago a very close friend of mine convinced a scientist high up in the US establishment to nominate me for this prize. I was honoured. The process went almost to the point when the nomination had to be submitted and……the nominating scientist went quiet. Completely, refusing to communicate any further on this matter. I wonder why?
So, if you are a true believer and you really want to annoy Nature Springer then do feel free to nominate me for this prize. I deserve it by its own definition!
Dr. Exley - You deserve so much more than the John Maddox Prize. You deserve the Nobel prize, as many people have mentioned over the years.
As a 76 year old retired nutritionist/naturopath with four vaccine-injured children (one autistic) I have followed your work for many years since your lectures for Children’s Medical Safety Research Institute (CMSRI). I am one of those "brave few" who have read your book:). God bless you and your efforts to educate the public regarding the toxicity of aluminum, especially aluminum adjuvants in vaccines.
I rarely comment on this Substack as my aging aluminum-addled brain doesn't function as brilliantly as yours and the commenters on this site. Trust that I do read and "like" every single one of your articles! You and Dr. Andrew Wakefield are my personal heroes.
I am also a subscriber to Naomi Wolfe’s Substack. I commented on her article and linked to your wonderful book on aluminum there. 😀
