Wow! This is great information! Thanks for including the links to the papers.
Question for you: Is it possible for diatomaceous earth to be converted to silicic acid in the human digestive tract? Some people drink DE in water daily as a "health supplement".
At elevated temperatures alkali will; water glass. I suppose you could neutralize it to produce concentrated silicic acid. Don't drink silicofluorides.
HF (hydrofluoric acid) reacts with silcon and silicon dioxide to produce fluorosilicic acid. Since we are trying to get rid of fluorine/fluoride in the body, this is not a good option. Drinking HF in any concentration is also not a good option and not recommended.
Chris, a question re silica after reading your book (which I found valuable).
You write that silica, "if its concentration is sufficiently high" it is bound by aluminium hydroxide.
My question: I am drinking Fiji water 93mg/L Silica - does one need to drink a certain volume for the concentration to be "sufficiently high"?
That is, drinking say 100ml/day may result in too low concentration, and no binding with Al hydroxide takes place, whereas 1,000ml may be a good concentration.
I'd appreciate your perspective, and thank you for your great book and all your years of research!
Thanks Brian, the simple answer is that such an experiment has never been performed. In our clinical trials people drank 1 or up to 1.5L /day and we know that this is effective. I suggest that we should drink what we can over the full 24h, I try to drink up to 1L/day.
I wrote my book so that I would not have to answer this question. So, the quick answer is no but you can also find this information throughout my substack.
I started reading the book last night...about half way done...GOOD STUFF! I should have had a note pad next to me as I was reading it...too much to remember to comment on.
Love the fish stories! I have seen fish go "mouth" air at the top of the tank like you describe when I was a kid with a small 5 gallon aquarium. I think the fish died not long after. Probably from the city water that we filled the tank with that was full of chlorine and aluminum!
Regarding the variations in human gut absorption of aluminum in the diet, the amount of absorption may depend on whether the person has leaky gut syndrome which increases intestinal permeability. It is possible to verify if a person has leaky gut by checking LPS (lipo polysaccharde) in the blood. There are several tests that can be run such as a WHEAT ZOOMER by Vibrant America or Cyrex Assay 2 which will show if LPS is elevated.
Regarding the urine testing for aluminum, Doctors Data offers a test called TOXIC METALS, URINE which shows results for a variety of metals including Aluminum. Both my parents had this test run back in 2014. The NMD did a chelation with an EDTA combo challenge and urine was collected thereafter. At the time, DD had a reference range of <35 ug/g. Result for my Mom was 16 and for my Dad was 15. Both had very few jabs in their life. I am guessing about 3-5...they never took any flu jabs. The reference has now changed to <15 for Aluminum. See sample report. https://site-akiajqrf22xmaqzsiz6q.s3.amazonaws.com/DDI+Website/Sample+Reports/Sample+Report+UT.PDF and https://www.doctorsdata.com/urine-toxic-metals/
After reading the drinking water quality report for my area, I am very happy that I only drink RO water! Aluminum is considered an unregulated contaminant with a range of 50-200 PPB. The highest result was 120 PPB. Unfortunately, the supplier of my RO does not seem to interested in aluminum removal. They state highest contaminant removal rate of 90-99%.
Once I finish the book, I will probably post a few more comments.
Thank you for all the work you have done to point out the toxicity of aluminum!
Like others here, looking for ways to get silicic acid into our system that are not as expensive AND do not involve contributing to more plastic bottles into the system.
Was looking at this but guessing now it’s not the answer?
Eidon Liquid Silica Mineral Supplement - Silica for Hair & Collagen Production, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Natural, Bioavailable, Ionic, No Artificial Colors or Preservatives - Silica Drops, 18 Ounce Bottle https://a.co/d/aGgMOIO
This product might have silica, but the silicilic acid is the active form to help get rid of aluminum. That's why Dr Exley's research is so important to distinguish what forms bind to Al.

No, DE is silica, it will pass through the human digestive tract unchanged. Just like sand from the beach.
THANK YOU! I suspected that was the case. Seems like some pseudo science at it's finest to drink this stuff.
The only acid that I am aware of that will etch/dissolve silicon/silicon dioxide is hydrofluoric acid.

Hi Christopher
Is there another way of adding silicic acid to diet for aluminium detox aside from Fiji water? It's expensive.
Regards
Angus

Thanks for sharing what is in the book! I will be ordering it today.
Ground water from siliceous aquifers. Beware fluoride, arsenic, and pesticides.
Is there a way to make silicic acid using crude methods?
Or it's easier just to buy fiji or whatever water?
No and yes

If anything existed I would tell you about it. I would use such myself. I have been looking for almost 40 years.

Aha, thanks Chris. So to summarise, you ain't going be making this stuff in a lab or factory in a hurry?
