This is great. Can you please also write about zeolites including "Advanced TRS" from Coseva? Thousands of parents are using this to detox aluminum from their kids and I am deeply skeptical.
You are correct to be sceptical. While there is no peer-reviewed scientific evidence to support their use in removing aluminium from the body I am also deeply worried about their safety for human consumption. These were my conclusions presented to the German government when asked to review the data. I would not knowingly ingest any such products.
Late to the discussion. Actually stumbled across your work when trying to figure out if zeolite could help with aluminum load. Thank you for sharing your knowledge so generously! So- the zeolite molecule already has aluminum linked with silica as an aluminosilicate? I'm not that well versed in biology. But I find that doesn't really add up as it already has aluminum. Could you briefly summarize your concerns with zeolite for human consumption?
Yes, very briefly, you are introducing an aluminium-based product which can breakdown in the acidic stomach to release aluminium to try to bind aluminium in the gut to prevent it from being absorbed into the body. While I struggle to understand how this might be helpful in reducing human exposure to aluminium I am prepared to be proven wrong by the appropriate peer-reviewed published clinical trial.
Which 'naturally occurring zeolite' does not include aluminium in its structure? If it exists as a human supplement has it been shown in a clinical trial to be effective in removing aluminium from the body and, importantly, that it is safe for human consumption?
I think the term lab-created zeolite inherently means it is not naturally occurring, and therefore is not already bound to aluminum. My understanding is all naturally occurring zeolites are already tightly bound to aluminum. Lab-created ones are not.

I’ve used Anthony William’s approach with success. It is the slow steady approach.
5 ingredients will pull out toxic metals safely from the body where they will be safely eliminated. He likens each ingredient’s function to “passing the football without dropping it.”
Wild blueberries, spirulina, cilantro, barley grass juice powder & Dulse. Blended with 2 bananas & orange juice for a daily smoothie. He explains that chlorella, while used a lot for detoxing is not great because it grabs heavy metals but then drops them before they can exit the body.
When metals are pulled out, places where they have been need healed- the antioxidant properties of the wild blueberries, oranges & other ingredients will help heal. Simple & natural.
Hi Dr Exley, After almost 20 years of problems with multiple titanium alloy spinal implants, amalgam fillings and Cortoss bone cement including the aluminosilicate in it, I am of the belief that it’s best for my metabolism to decide at what speed I should detox, so I avoid detox products. Cortoss bone cement was used to plug a hole in my spine which was gushing blood, as the surgeons drill hit a blood vessel. It expanded as it cured and caused cracks in the bone by the looks of it. I ended up with a severe hypersensitivity reaction and cardiac issues.(symptoms of bone cement implantation syndrome)I removed all my aluminosilicate dental fillings and this was enough to stop the neurotoxicity( metal toxicity and dementia like symptoms). I replaced them with metal free ceramics. It stopped the cardiac issues too.
I later found out from the supplier that Cortoss had been removed from the market when it was used in me but I can’t get it removed in NZ due to their attitude. I had prof Vera Stejskals help with my first implant allergy over a period of 3 years and I sure wish she was still around. I’m a lot better now than I was but am on cns suppressants and daily adrenaline injections. If I try detox it just pulls more of the toxin from the PMMA bone cement into my blood. My blood looks terrible. Red blood cells have lost their electric charge and clumping, they’re also no longer round but dented. I definitely have to avoid detox until I get it removed. I don’t suppose you know of a neurosurgeon in Germany or even Russia who might take this level of risk on, and replace the bone cement with something more biocompatible? I’m only 51 and weigh 50kg and if I don’t get it remedied, life isn’t looking too flash. Thanks
I saw one study noting that citric and malic acids were good chelators and suggesting magnesium malate for the purpose. Similar contamination concerns? Or simply just not enough science?
Yes, I have written about DE several times on my substack. The quick answer is that DE is silica and cannot help to remove aluminium from the body. See my substack called Horsetail for why.
I'm sorry, I was just browsing this topic and I found your video (it survives on FB, you or the content are too hot for YT apparently!). So having just seen that your 'to my knowledge the peer-reviewed scientific literature does not report any research' sentence above prompted this rather hasty (as it turns out) cut & paste. At the speed of science. And thanks!
Thank YOU SO SO MUCH, Dr, E!! The world desperately needs honest science to be pursued and disseminated..

Dr Exley can you give your opinion on this article please
Does zeolite absorb or leach heavy metals?
https://www.zeohealth.com/aboutzeolite/zeolitesafety.html
If you are prepared to eat these products, I am not, they may bind metals in the gut and reduce the possibility of their absorption but that is all.
Thank you for your expert advice and hard work..
What if the zeolite is lab-created and thus is not bound to aluminum, as is found in naturally- occurring zeolite?

isn't that delightful, a product which at the same time poisons and cures, just fantastic...
thank you Dr. Exley!

Great information for everyone to have! Thanks, Karen (NaturallyRecoveringAutism.com)
Thank you Dr Exley. This was very important information.
Pithy and to the point, Chris! Thanks.Peter
What about saunas? Does sauna use increase Al excretion? Or does the Al first need to be extracted from its sequestering sites in some other way?
Yes, perspiration is a major route of excretion from the body. I write about this and our research in this area in my book.
Perhaps I will stop cursing my menopausal hot flashes!
Thank you. That is good to know. I will find our copy of your book and read it!

Sorry I don't but I am assuming that you are drinking a silicon-rich mineral water every day?
I saw one study noting that citric and malic acids were good chelators and suggesting magnesium malate for the purpose. Similar contamination concerns? Or simply just not enough science?
Ask the question, do they facilitate the excretion of aluminium in urine. Where is the clinical trial that shows this.
Makes sense. This was just one study of mice over 30 years ago.

Can you comment on diatomaceous Earth as a means to chelate aluminium please?

Thank you! Will do

Yes, this is our seminal study.
