How interesting. I have just noticed that the previous publishers of JAD, IOS Press, has been bought by Sage. Seems like they may have bought the science too.

Despite the complexity of the subject matter, I managed to wade through most of it. I was trying to understand why the Aluminium industry would be in the slightest bit interested in the microscopic amounts of Aluminium that your paper clearly identifies as a cause of Alzheimer's disease. Nowhere in your paper did I find any suggestion that the Aluminium discovered in the brain tissues originated from the widespread use of Aluminium for structural and containment purposes, so I am at a loss to understand why the Aluminium industry would want to refute your good work. Isn't it more likely that the Pharmaceutical industry is the culprit with their use of Aluminium compounds

If the aluminium industry admitted that their product was harmful to human health they would likely face myriad huge claims against them that would probably bankrupt the industry. See my post on the Aluminium Age.

I would imagine that at the top, like with most industries, they are all connected and not the separate entities they appear to be.

Justice may be coming to the UK at last, or we will find out our justice system is totally corrupt as well, one of the two!

He writes reviews for Science Feedback and Health Feedback.

Which lists its partners and donors here

These include the usual fact-checkers Meta, Poynter IFCN (Politifact), Google News Initiative, European Media and Information Fund. So I would suggest his claim of no conflicts of interest is a bit disingenuous.

Thank you for laying bare the skeleton of science, for us all to witness.

Honestly Dr Exley, I sincerely hope not. It's been clear there has something very rotten in many scientific fields for decades before the internet, and the introduction of the internet has brought things in the direction of the 'hive mind', rather than the officially-sanctioned viewpoints. As a layman the internet has massively helped my ability to research, to be exposed to new ideas, and to test my understanding through debate.

Yes, I see that things are sometimes messier than they might otherwise be but I'd urge you to keep your cool, recognize that you are in a war (and close to winning it!) and the enemy is becoming desperate.

This chap is really the best the enemy has, take him down and they have nothing left.

I'd urge you not to worry about protecting the ivory towers. Let them come down.

Journal editors with integrity & a conscience need to come forward & blow the whistle on pressure from the corporate owners of the journals to suppress certain science. It will probably come with a heavy personal & professional cost to the editors (like it has for many scientists & researchers), but it's the right thing to do.

Scientific journals have long been captured by the pharmaceutical industry. Former Editor in Chiefs of prestigious journals, have written books on the subject. Marcia Angell, former Editor-in-Chief of the New England Journal of Medicine for 20 years wrote,... over half of what is published in these journals, should not be believed. She also said.... “Once upon a time, drug companies promoted drugs to treat diseases. Now it is often the opposite. They promote diseases to fit their drugs.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC521592/

It is just much more pervasive now with the advent of the mRNA platform, trying to gain a foothold. There is nothing they won't do to protect their interest. No matter how blatantly corrupt it looks... https://ohbaby.substack.com/p/war-on-freedom-has-begun-with-draconian

I am sorry this has touched you personally. A Letter to the Editor,.... 4 years later? Skipping established guidelines to publish? How much more perverse can it get? I just hope they don't use this "Letter" to rally support for a retraction. It wouldn't surprise me at all. They have been operating out of bounds with impunity of late.

I would like to personally applaud you,.. for your landmark work in linking aluminum to Alzheimer’s. It is my honor to recommend your substack on my own page... https://ohbaby.substack.com/

I recently started it Sept 2023, to do what I can to help people make informed decisions on their health. By scrutinizing the scientific literature that is littered with bought and paid for studies. I kind of have a knack in sniffing them out.

I am going to use your example to illustrate the blatant corruption of the scientific journals in a future newsletter. As Dr. Pierre Kory had mentioned, doctors believe the heights of science comes from these journals. And so in a very broad sense, they can get doctors to believe whatever they want them to believe... https://ohbaby.substack.com/p/dr-pierre-korys-excellent-interview

At age 83… A short comment from a *former* MD-diagnosed Alzheimer’s person…

I implemented an OSA-water program because it is the *only* concept that made technological sense. Here are some “whys…”

1. The brains of (deceased) Alzheimer’s patents ALL, apparently, are *loaded* with Aluminum.

2. Unlike all other neurological “diseases”… This disorder appeared in the late-1800s.

3. Until the mid-1800s, Aluminum was a “rich-person’s” ailment… coincidence or causality?

3. There appears to be a strong relationship between bodily Aluminum and Alzheimer’s ailment.

4. Orthosilicic Acid (OSA) water… Like FIJI-water has the nearly-unique ability to dissolve bodily Aluminum so the body’s systems can remove it via urine and perspiration.

Happy to answer any questions… but in Argentina now… heading for Southern Africa.. so our Safari hosts may not be able to maintain contact!

Sounds like those who want to publish but can't find a journal should join together and launch new ones.
