Is the prize a tin-foil crown?

Hi do we know if drinking silicon rich mineral water also increases the amount of aluminium in sperm, as well as urine? As in the body also gets rid of it through sperm. Asking because I was wondering if it was best to take a break with the silicon rich mineral water if you are trying to have a child with your girlfriend.

No evidence or even indication that silicon-rich mineral waters increase the aluminium content of sperm/seminal fluid. My feeling is that they would do the opposite.

Not being familiar with the John Maddox Prize, but familiarity-bred to prizefighting contempt generally, I asked my prize-awarding computer to apprize me of what might be caught dangling in the darpaweb ….

From we-had-to-burn-the-wikiup-down-to-save-it I read about HPV vax stalwart, & 2017 prize winner, “Riko” Muranaka (which my 2nd-guessing spell-checking computer helpfully corrected to “RICO” - which among US gangsters means Racketeer Influenced & Corrupt Organizations …):

“In 2016, Muranaka wrote in the Wedge magazine about research done by Shinshu University neurologist Shuichi Ikeda, alleging that some results to demonstrate a link between an HPV vaccine and brain cancer in mouse had been fabricated, resulting in a slander lawsuit. While Japanese's Health Ministry stated that Ikeda's results "have not proven anything about whether the symptoms that occurred after HPV vaccination were caused by the HPV vaccine," the court ruled that evidence of fabrication was absent.”

Wedge magazine? High-capacity, holding infinite rounds of multifarious ammos-wedges, in the authoritative pistols, rifles, & journals.

And in related news that wedge of cheese velvet-ensconced George Costanza can’t wait to dig into contains - is contained by - is just a disguise for - Pfizer’s GMO rennet. (Merck, Pfizer, what’s the difference?)

Velveeta.

Is that animal (rennet), vegetable, or mineral? George doesn’t know. But he likes that it combines two of his favorite things. And doesn’t require refrigeration. Velvety room temperacheese.

When I hear about prizes (like the one dynamiter Nobel funded) I recall this scene, too:

If imitation is the highest form of flattery, vanity-bribery might be the most compressive form of flattening the potential curveballs, eh?

It’s just a game … preserve/d (like Velveeta) for “aristocratic hunters” :

Happy to see you are getting a small amount of the recognition you deserve through the Defender piece. Hopefully Naomi will read this and share it with her readers.

I see that the nomination process for the John Maddox prize is closed for this year. May I suggest that you resend this Substack, along with a reminder do your readers once the 2025 nomination process opens up next spring? Though I have no credentials to tout in this field, I would be happy to submit a nomination request next spring.

So, if the process of nomination is closed how did Madhabi Paul manage to nominate me just two days ago and Nature invited me to apply? All quite strange!

Click on the link you provided and see what you think… I agree, this sounds very suspicious.

Could it have closed yesterday ?

The biggest and most dangerous form of censorship is being hidden in front of our very eyes. It's non political in that no major party or government official will address it, excepting a few like the Tennessee legislature that banned it. It's destroying our environment and contaminating every breath we take; yet we have been trained to ignore it at the expense of our own demise. Geoengineering, how can we continue to pretend that the smoking gun is not pointed at us?
